Ladies! Ladies! Ladies! You go to your lash appointment, it's been about hmmm...let's say... 2 1/2 weeks since your last visit. You get prepped for your bi-weekly fill...and EEEEKKK.... goes your lash tech!!!! What???? You, the client, yell! There goes about 1/2 of your set crumbling off, which means a full set needed, along with a pep talk! Honey, you have to clean those lashes. Lash extensions can not, will not last the desired retention time if they are full of gunk(is that a word? YES!), grime, dirt, and particles. If you are an everyday make up wearer, you have to clean your face of all make up and dirt thoroughly and ensure no oil or dirt is left behind on your lash extensions. When we sleep, cry, have irritating allergy attacks, or just walk around, our lashes attract all kinds of little enemies. Just a drop of lash poo(baby wash of your choice) and a little water on the lash wand makes a huge difference. Why? The dirt from your face and eyes, along with oils causes the glue to break down, which then causes the lashes to shed quicker. Not to mention, possible infections can conjure up in the eye area when there is poor to no maintenance. Take a wand to those lashes girls. It won't hurt them. They'll last longer.
